About Connect

Connect is a quick-thinking strategy game that’s perfect for short, intense matches. While its rules are simple, every turn carries weight as you try to outsmart your opponent and seize the right opportunity. It’s a great blend of planning, anticipation, and subtle tactics—ideal for players who enjoy one-on-one challenges with a competitive edge.

How to play

  • Objective: Be the first player to connect four of your discs in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  • Game setup: The game is played on a vertical grid with 7 columns and 6 rows.
  • Gameplay:
    1. Players take turns dropping one of their colored discs into any of the columns.
    2. The disc falls to the lowest available space within the column.
  • Winning the game: The first player to align four of their discs consecutively wins.
  • Draw: If the board is filled without a winner, the game ends in a draw.

Game modes

  1. Solo vs bot: Play against the computer. Ideal for quick games or practice sessions. The AI offers a balanced challenge for casual players.
  2. Local vs player: Two players share the same device and take turns playing. Perfect for playing with a friend side by side.
  3. Online vs player: Invite a friend to play online via a private link. No matchmaking – just send the link and start playing together. Each win in Connect earns 2 victory points towards the Online milestone.
