How to play

• Objective: Have the majority of your color discs on the board at the end of the game.
• Game setup: Played on an 8x8 board with each player having 32 discs of their color; four discs are placed in the center of the board in a diagonal pattern.
• Gameplay:
  1. Players take turns placing a disc on the board.
  2. A move must capture at least one of the opponent's discs by enclosing them between two of the player's discs.
  3. Captured discs are flipped to the player's color.
  4. If a player has no valid moves, they pass their turn.
• Winning the game: The player with the most discs of their color on the board wins.
• Game over: The game ends when neither player can make a valid move.
• Draw: A draw occurs when both players have exactly 32 discs at the end of the game.

Game modes

1. Solo vs bot: Play against the computer. Ideal for quick games or practice sessions. The AI offers a balanced challenge for casual players.
2. Local vs player: Two players share the same device and take turns playing. Perfect for playing with a friend side by side.
3. Online vs player: Invite a friend to play online via a private link. No matchmaking – just send the link and start playing together. Each win in Reverse earns 3 victory points towards the Online milestone.
