About Mines
Mines is a classic game of logic and deduction that rewards careful thinking and attention to detail. Behind its simple grid lies a puzzle that challenges your ability to read patterns, manage risk, and think several steps ahead. Each round offers a unique problem to solve, making it a rewarding choice for players who enjoy calm, focused gameplay with a satisfying payoff.
How to play
- Objective: Clear the minefield without detonating any mines.
- Game setup: A grid contains hidden mines; numbers indicate how many mines are adjacent to each square.
- Gameplay:
- Click on squares to reveal them.
- If a square contains a mine, the game ends.
- Use numbers on revealed squares to deduce where mines are located.
- Right-click or press and hold (mobile) to mark suspected mines with a flag.
- Timer: Time is limited based on the grid size. The timer starts on the first move.
- Scoring: Try to be as fast as possible to maximize your score.
- Winning the game: Successfully reveal all non-mine squares.
- Game over: Revealing a mine ends the game.
