How to play

  • Objective: Be the first player to align three of your marks horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
  • Game setup: The game is played on a 3x3 grid.
  • Gameplay:
    1. Player 1 uses red 'X' and Player 2 uses blue 'O'.
    2. Players take turns placing their mark in an empty square.
  • Winning the game: The first player to get three of their marks in a row wins.
  • Draw: If all squares are filled without a winner, the game ends in a draw.

  1. Solo vs bot: Play against the computer. Ideal for quick games or practice sessions. The AI offers a balanced challenge for casual players.
  2. Local vs player: Two players share the same device and take turns playing. Perfect for playing with a friend side by side.
  3. Online vs player: Invite a friend to play online via a private link. No matchmaking – just send the link and start playing together. Each win in Lines earns 1 victory point towards the Online milestone.
