About Warships

Warships is a classic strategy game that puts your deduction and prediction skills to the test. Hidden fleets and careful guesswork create a suspenseful duel where each move brings you closer to victory—or defeat. It’s a tense, rewarding experience that balances luck with tactical thinking.

How to play

  • Objective: Sink all of your opponent's ships before they sink yours.
  • Game setup: Each player places a fleet of ships on their grid without the opponent seeing.
  • Gameplay:
    1. Players take turns by clicking on a grid cell to attack.
    2. A 'hit' is marked with a red peg, and a 'miss' is marked with a white peg.
    3. The turn automatically switches to the opponent after an attack.
  • Winning the game: The first player to sink all opponent ships wins.

Game modes

  1. Solo vs bot: Play against the computer. Ideal for quick games or practice sessions. The AI offers a balanced challenge for casual players.
  2. Local vs player: Two players share the same device and take turns playing. Perfect for playing with a friend side by side.
  3. Online vs player: Invite a friend to play online via a private link. No matchmaking – just send the link and start playing together. Each win in Warships earns 3 victory points towards the Online milestone.
